Ortho Trauma Surgeon Opening in OregonLocated in Corvallis, OR - Salem 40m, Eugene 50mFull-time, PermanentEmployed Position Overview: Seeking an Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon to join our team in Corvallis, Oregon. Work exclusively at the Medical Center, a level ll trauma center. Access to a nationally recognized Ambulatory Surgery Center for outpatient procedures. Work as part of a 3-person team of Orthopedic Traumatologists supported by one APC with plans to add a second APC. Work ten 24 hour shifts per month with flexible scheduling. Cover trauma clinic, OR and call with resident team. First call is resident, then attending. Must be willing to teach Orthopedic Residents and Medical Students- The Medical Center is an integral training location for the orthopedic department's residency program. This position involves collaboration with seasoned orthopedic traumatologists and residents. Applicant should demonstrate a commitment to leadership, teaching, research, mentoring. Cases include: ortho trauma, MVA's, pediatric and geriatric fx's, periarticular fx's, pelvis/acetabular trauma, and non unions. Revision arthroplasty is not required. Expansive referral network consisting of three counties and over 300,000 population.
