• Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00pm – 7:00am)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Guaranteed Hours: 72 hours biweekly (excluding on-call)
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $2470 - $2540

ER Nurse Qualifications

• Active Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license required
• Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room nursing experience
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS required; TNCC required; PALS or ENPC preferred
• Must pass ECG/Telemetry and Medication competency tests (one attempt, 85% minimum score)
• No local travelers (must reside 50+ miles from facility)
• Must be available for the specified start date; no holiday time off approved around Christmas
• All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at application
• Not eligible if employed at Beth Israel Lahey Health as permanent staff within the past year

ER RN Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, compassionate patient care in the Emergency Department
• Perform rapid assessments and interventions for acute and emergent conditions
• Administer medications, monitor patient status, and document care accurately
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams for optimal outcomes
• Respond to trauma, cardiac, and pediatric emergencies
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards
