- Friday - Monday 7 am - 7 am 24-hour on-call coverage
- 5 patients per shift with inpatient and outpatient rounding
- 10 beds in department
- Adult and pediatric surgery including laparoscopic procedures
- Call ratio 1:3 with 15-minute response time
- Average 3-4 phone consults and 1-2 admissions per 24 hours
- Beeper call type with 5% call back rate
- Board certification eligible required
- Paid malpractice insurance; pre-paid travel and housing expenses
- Assignment details and time entry in online portal
