Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Interventional Radiology position requiring WA or compact licensure and IR experience.
Responsibilities
- Work in an Interventional Radiology unit within a Level II Trauma Center
- Average daily caseload of 18 patients
- Uses EPIC charting system
- Day shifts, 4x10 hour schedule from 7:00 to 17:30
- Weekend and on-call shifts required with a 30-minute arrival time when on call
- Floating between like units and all in-state facilities is expected
- Block scheduling may be accommodated
- Provide comprehensive nursing care and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in IR
- Scrub color of choice is permitted except for reddish orange
- Facility-paid parking is available
- All travelers are required to float across facilities within the state
- Minimal to no time off is preferred; extensive requests may hinder selection
- Any requested time off or schedule changes should be addressed before submission
- COVID and flu vaccination requirements may apply
Requirements
- Active WA or compact RN license required
- Minimum 1 year of Interventional Radiology nursing experience
- Certifications required: BLS and ACLS
- Experience with EPIC EMR required
- Supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last three years in a comparable specialty or setting are required
- Candidates must not be local to within 50 miles of the facility
- Former permanent staff must wait 3 months before returning as a traveler
