Registered Nurse - Noninvasive Cardiology

Location

Position available in a non-disclosed location.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Shifts consist of 5 days with 8-hour shifts from 7 AM to 3:30 PM; no weekends or holidays required.

Job Description

This position is for an RN in the noninvasive cardiology area. The role involves training in various stress testing methods, IV skills, pre-post experience, and moderate sedation for TEE procedures. The department serves both inpatient and outpatient populations, focusing on ancillary noninvasive cardiology testing.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and monitor all forms of stress testing.
• Administer moderate sedation for TEE procedures.
• Manage pre and post-procedure IVs and patient monitoring.
• Administer dobutamine for dobutamine stress testing under supervision.
• Ensure patient throughput with support from the charge nurse.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in relevant areas.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
