As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal at a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing an approachable presence. This position requires both armed and driving responsibilities. You will interact with staff and visitors, delivering exceptional customer service and communication in alignment with our values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing appropriate protocols for armed posts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor for unusual or suspicious behavior and report findings according to established guidelines.
• Maintain a visible presence while on patrol to help to deter incidents and provide assistance to staff and visitors as necessary.
• Follow all client and Allied Universal protocols for armed personnel, including proper handling and storage of firearms.
• Complete detailed reports on incidents, patrols, and any security-related observations encountered during the shift.
• Participate in security-related drills and training sessions as required for armed personnel at government locations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
