Cardiologist (MD/DO)
Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Cardiologist to join our healthcare team. The Cardiologist will diagnose, manage, and treat patients with cardiovascular conditions, providing high-quality care across both inpatient and outpatient settings. The ideal candidate is committed to patient-centered care, evidence-based practice, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with a wide range of cardiovascular conditions, including heart disease, arrhythmias, and hypertension.
Perform and interpret diagnostic tests, such as echocardiograms, stress tests, electrocardiograms (ECGs), and cardiac catheterizations.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including medical management, interventional procedures, and lifestyle guidance.
Collaborate with other healthcare providers, including primary care physicians, surgeons, and specialty care teams, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Provide patient education on cardiovascular health, prevention strategies, and disease management.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records in compliance with regulatory requirements.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives, research, and continuing education as appropriate.
Qualifications:
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
Completion of an accredited residency in Internal Medicine and fellowship in Cardiology.
Board certification or eligibility in Cardiology.
Valid medical license to practice in the state of employment.
Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and commitment to patient-centered care.
Work Environment:
