Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with at least 1 year of experience and active state licensure for a day shift position.
Responsibilities
- Work within a Physical Therapy department in a clinical setting
- Treats a variety of patients focusing on functional status, mobility, endurance, and related medical needs
- Uses Epic for charting and documentation
- 40 hours per week, 8-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday
- Responsibilities include patient assessment, developing care plans, implementing physical therapy interventions, and evaluating patient progress
- Must maintain regular onsite attendance during scheduled business hours
- Candidate must be highly organized, analytical, and possess a strong work ethic
- Team-oriented environment requiring the ability to handle multiple projects
- Returning employees must be separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before eligibility
- Allow at least 2 weeks for background check and drug screen results and report to the lab for drug screening within 24 hours of offer acceptance
Requirements
- Active state Physical Therapist license required (license required if applicable)
- Minimum of 1 year recent experience as a Physical Therapist required
- Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school is required; Doctorate in Physical Therapy preferred
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association required, must not expire prior to start
- Familiarity with Epic EMR is required
- Advanced Care Life Support (ACLS) preferred
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
