We are seeking a skilled Cardiologist for a locum tenens opportunity in Washington State, in a location near Garfield. This is an excellent chance to work with a dedicated team in a dynamic setting, providing both inpatient and outpatient care.
Position Details- Start Date: ASAP
- End Date: Ongoing
- Schedule:
- 7-day inpatient blocks, one week per month.
- Shifts run from Thursday 7 AM to Wednesday 5 PM.
- Night call responsibilities will vary.
- Patient Load: Approximately 18 patients per shift.
- Setting: Both outpatient and inpatient cardiology practice.
Requirements- Board Certification: Must be board-certified or board-eligible in Cardiology.
- Certifications: ACLS and BLS are required.
- Licensure: Active Washington State medical license (WA only).
- Credentialing Timeframe: Estimated 30 days.
- Must be eligible for hospital/surgery center privileges.
Clinical Skills Needed- Core Skills: Non-invasive cardiology, echocardiography, transesophageal echocardiography (TEE), ICU care, and outpatient/inpatient cardiology.
- Preferred Skills: PA catheter placement and diagnostic cardiac catheterization.
- Not Required: Interventional cardiology procedures or electrophysiology.
