Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM for 13 weeks
• Patient ratio of 1:5 caring for adults and geriatrics with all emergency type diagnoses
• Every other weekend requirement and must be available for every other holiday if needed
• Must have 2 years of experience and EPIC charting experience required
• Active New York Single State RN license required (NY is not compact)
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
• Preferred certifications: PALS, TNCC
• Clinical skills required: IV therapy, blood product administration, central line care, phlebotomy, IV vasopressors, CPAP/BiPAP, ventilator management, CVA/stroke care, cardiac monitoring, emergency care for adult/pediatric patients
• Will be required to float within skillset
• Scrub color requirement: any combination of navy blue and white
• Work with special equipment including Bair hugger, rapid infuser, and safe patient handling equipment
• 24 hours of orientation provided
• Up to 5 hours of billable modules completed pre-start
• Locals within 75 miles of facility are not accepted
• Client may cancel up to three shifts during contract period without charges

The emergency department features a state-of-the-art, 24/7 facility with centralized layout for rapid patient care, advanced diagnostic technology, a dedicated pediatric ED, a discreet crisis intervention unit, and a trauma suite located steps from the ambulance entrance for immediate stabilization of critical patients.
