Locum Tenens Opportunity for Psychiatry Near Greensboro, NC We are seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Psychiatrist for a locum tenens role located near Greensboro, NC. This position offers a structured schedule and the opportunity to work in a supportive and collaborative environment. Position Details: Specialty: Psychiatry Location: Near Greensboro, NC Schedule: ASAP - Ongoing Shift: Day shifts, 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM Coverage: 7 days on, 7 days off Block Scheduling: Not available Work Details: Patient Volume: Manage a total of 25-30 patients per day, across both inpatient units, with shared duties with another on-site psychiatrist. Hospital Bed Size: Approximately 18 beds in the Behavioral Medicine Unit (BMU), including a geropsych unit with 12 beds. Support Staff: Collaborate with a team of psychiatric professionals. Additional Duties: Engage in care meetings, interact with families, and consult with interdisciplinary team members. Flexibility to assist with ED or medical consults if needed. Documentation: Accurate and timely documentation in medical records is essential. Requirements: Board Certification: Must be board-certified or board-eligible in Psychiatry. Vaccine Requirements: Flu vaccination is required. Credentialing Timeline: Expect a credentialing process of 60-90 days.
