Our client, is seeking a Patient Care Coordinator to join their team. As a Patient Care Coordinator, you will be part of the Patient Support Department supporting the healthcare delivery team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and a compassionate approach which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Patient Care Coordinator
Location: Traverse City, MI
Pay Range: $17/hr-$21/hr based on experience
Shift: 8:30am to 5:00pm, M-F with a 30 minute lunch
What's the Job?
- Serve as the primary point of contact for patients, providing compassionate assistance and guidance with inquiries, scheduling appointments, and addressing concerns.
- Maintain clear and effective communication channels between patients, providers, and administrative staff.
- Schedule appointments for initial consultations, fittings, and follow-up visits with accuracy and efficiency.
- Coordinate appointment reminders and ensure timely follow-ups to minimize scheduling conflicts and missed appointments.
- Educate patients about options, including features, benefits, and pricing, while providing empathetic support throughout decision-making.
What's Needed?
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse individuals.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using computer software for scheduling, record-keeping, and communication.

- Previous experience in a healthcare setting or a related field preferred.
