Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehab RN for a day shift assignment specializing in cardiac rehab with EPIC charting and MA RN license required.
Responsibilities
- Work in a hospital-based cardiac and pulmonary rehab unit
- Day shifts with varying hours Monday through Thursday (no weekends required)
- Patients in cardiac or pulmonary rehabilitation programs
- Uses EPIC charting system
- Responsible for providing direct cardiac and pulmonary rehab nursing care
- Must adhere to unit-specific protocols and work as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Experience with EPIC EMR is expected
- RTO must be specified up front during consideration
- Parking may incur daily costs; public transportation options available
- Respirator fit testing may be required
- Dress code and holiday coverage details not specified
Requirements
- Active MA RN license required at the time of consideration; conditional licenses not accepted
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) required
- License must be primary source verified through NURSYS and state board of nursing
- COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required with no exemptions allowed
- Two professional references required
