• Predictable Schedule and Streamlined Workflow:
  Enjoy a predictable work schedule with clear coverage parameters: 36 hours of physician coverage and 40 hours of advanced practice provider (APP) coverage per week. This allows you to focus on patient care while minimizing administrative burdens.

• Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, including history taking, physical examinations, and diagnostic testing for patients presenting to the emergency department.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for a variety of acute medical conditions in adults and seniors.
  • Perform essential stabilization procedures as needed.
  • Collaborate effectively with nurses, advanced practice providers, and hospitalists to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Document patient care accurately and efficiently within the Cerner electronic medical records system.

• Qualifications for Success:

  • Current board certification in emergency medicine (ABEM or AOBEM) is preferred. Board certification in family medicine or internal medicine with a minimum of two years of emergency medicine experience may also be considered.
  • Valid and active state medical license is required.
