Member Services Representative / Loan Assistant

About the RoleWe are seeking a Member Services Representative / Loan Assistant to join a growing, member-focused financial institution. In this role, you will assist members with a variety of financial products and services, while providing administrative support to the loan processing team. Key Responsibilities- Open, close, and maintain member accounts, including Individual Retirement Accounts.
- Assist members with financial products, services, and legal accounts.
- Respond to inquiries via phone, email, and online platforms.
- Process wire transfers, stop payments, travel notices, address changes, and check orders.
- Provide administrative and clerical support to the Loan Processing Department.
- Prepare and send loan packages, maintain filing systems, and update interest rate sheets.
- Communicate effectively with members and internal teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications- High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework preferred.
- Previous experience in customer service or financial services is a plus.
- Familiarity with DNA/Fiserv systems is preferred.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Schedule & Compensation- Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM (No weekends).
- Pay range: $18/hour (entry-level) to $23/hour (experienced MSR with 5+ years).
