Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) provide anesthesia care in hospital surgical settings, covering a wide range of procedures including general surgery, orthopedics, OB/GYN, and endoscopy. They work in a team-based environment with flexible scheduling, including call coverage every 5-6 weekends, to ensure patient safety and support throughout perioperative care. The role involves managing anesthesia for approximately 230 cases per month in multiple operating rooms while maintaining strong work-life balance and collaboration with support staff.
Start Date: As soon as credentialed
Contract Length: Ongoing
Schedule: Monday Friday, 6:45 AM 3:30 PM (some flexibility)
Call Required: Yes split weekday/weekend/holiday/night call; approximately every 5 6 weekends
Call Coverage: Team-based scheduling with post-call recovery (day off or early out)
Setting: Hospital (3 ORs + 1 Endo suite; expanding with ASC)
Supervision Model: 3 CRNAs on-site at all times/shifts
Patient Population: All ages
Procedures: General surgery, ortho (including total joints), OB/GYN (including C-sections), urology, plastics, hand cases, endoscopy, regional and neuraxial anesthesia, IV sedation/MAC, and lines/intubations outside the OR
Volume: 230 cases/month; 7 12 surgeries/day
Hours of Operation: 10-hour surgical day; urgent/emergent only after hours

Support Staff: 5 providers (4.8 FTEs) + 2 per diem
