At K ima:w Medical Center, a Rural Health Clinic serving the Yurok and Karuk Tribes in beautiful Northern California, we re seeking a mission-driven Chief Medical Officer (CMO) to guide our medical team and shape the future of care for the region.
This is more than a position it s a calling for a physician who wants to combine leadership, purpose, and practice in one of the most culturally rich and naturally stunning regions in the state.
What You ll DoProvide leadership and oversight for all medical operations.
Mentor and guide an exceptional team of physicians and advanced practitioners.
Maintain a small outpatient clinical practice (Family Medicine focus).
Collaborate with tribal leadership to strengthen and expand community health programs.
Set the standard for compassionate, high-quality, and culturally sensitive care.
MD or DO with active, unrestricted CA License.
At least two years of leadership or management experience.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Dedication to advancing rural and tribal healthcare access.
$180/hr + travel and lodging covered
6-month minimum commitment with potential for permanent placement
