This position is for a board-certified or board-eligible Radiation Oncology Physician at a comprehensive cancer center in Grand Rapids, MI. The role involves outpatient and some inpatient care, utilizing advanced radiotherapy techniques such as 3D-CRT, SBRT, and IMRT, with no on-call duties and a standard weekday schedule. Opportunity:
Physician - Radiation Oncology
Job Details:
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm with no call requirements• Join a practice with 2 other full-time radiation oncologists and 2 APPs• Primarily outpatient setting with some inpatient responsibilities• Average patient load of 30-50 outpatients and 2-5 inpatients daily• Adult patient population• Utilize Mosaiq/EPIC electronic medical record systems• Perform conventional radiotherapy, 3D radiotherapy, and SBRT/IMRT• Conduct external beam radiation including 3D-CRT, IGRT, and IMRT• Experience with helical-tomotherapy stereotactic radiosurgery required• Provide stereotactic body radiation therapy (SBRT) and fractionated stereotactic radiotherapy• Order tests, imaging studies, and write prescriptions as part of routine care• Board Certification in Radiation Oncology or truly Board Eligible required• Active Michigan medical license required• BLS certification required• 90-day estimated credentialing timeframe• Position available ASAP due to full-time physician relocation
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
