Responsibilities
- Document best practices to share across projects; ensure optimal construction methods are used
- Manage claims; identify and resolve potential claims with subcontractors and suppliers
- Protect and promote the interests of the Company; ensure all compensation for work performed is received
- Assist the Project Manager with problem and conflict resolution
- Manage the scope of work and maintain full mastery of contract documents
- Support the achievement of EEO goals
- Manage the financial aspects of contracts; ensure job margin analysis is completed regularly
- Set and monitor safety, quality, schedule, cost, and owner relationship goals
- Manage multiple projects and Project Managers as needed
- Ensure proper project billing; review and negotiate potential change orders with the owner
- Direct and ensure timely completion of project close-out activities
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university and 10 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Related project experience in the markets served
