Job Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced PACU RN with active BLS and ACLS certifications for day shifts and no call, weekend, or holiday duties.
Responsibilities
- Position is in a PACU setting with a focus on post-anesthesia care
- Work with ophthalmology, orthopedics, pain management, plastics, gynecology, general/breast oncology, and electrophysiology/cardiac cases
- Day shift schedules include 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, and 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM
- No weekend or holiday shifts required
- No on-call responsibilities
- No floating to other units
- Main responsibilities include caring for post-anesthesia patients and supporting a wide range of surgical specialties
- No local candidates allowed; must reside more than 60 miles from the facility
Requirements
- Active MD or compact RN license
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Previous PACU experience is required
- Experience in facility with 500+ bed count required
