Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Pediatric Step Down unit on a seasonal night shift contract in Colorado requiring at least one year of recent pediatric nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital Pediatric Step Down unit (Peds Step Down-4CN)
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Seasonal travel contract position
• Patient population consists of pediatric step-down level cases
• Responsible for providing care to pediatric patients transitioning from critical care
• Expected to function effectively in a step-down environment with pediatric patients
• Scrub or dress code guidelines may apply per hospital policy
• Seasonal contract assignment with defined start and end dates

Requirements

• Active CO or compact RN license required
• Minimum of one year of recent experience in pediatric nursing
• American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) BLS certification required
• No work history gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
• U.S. Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
