Locum Tenens Anesthesiologist Needed Near West Chester, PA

We are actively seeking a skilled Anesthesiologist for a locum tenens position near West Chester, PA. Responsibilities and Practice Details:

• Work Schedule:

  • 5x8 hour shifts or 4x10 hour shifts per week
  • No call required for locums during day shifts
  • In-house call from 2:30 PM to 7:15 AM
  • Coverage needed Monday through Sunday, including holidays
  • Preference for full-time availability; minimum two-week availability required

• Patient Demographics:

  • Patients aged 1 year and older
  • All cases are general anesthesia; no cardiac cases or sedation-only cases

• Support Staff:

  • Anesthesiologists
  • LPNs
  • Nursing staff
  • Administrative support
  • Anesthesia techs
  • 3 Nurse Practitioners

• Additional Information:

  • The role involves managing one's own cases, with no supervision preferred
  • Must have recent experience in acute care hospitals, not primarily Ambulatory Surgery Centers (ASCs)
  • Experience with the Epic EMR system is required
  • Must have a clean malpractice history and no adverse entries in the National Practitioner Data Bank (NPDB)
