Shift Details:
- Day Shift: 8am 5pm
- Call: 24-hour call (ends at 8am the following morning)
- Type: PRN scheduled as needed
Highland Hospital, a Level 1 trauma center, is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Interventional Radiologist for PRN coverage. This role involves both scheduled daytime procedures and 24-hour call coverage, with a strong emphasis on trauma-related IR experience.
Clinical Details- Daytime Procedures: 5 6 per day
- Call Expectations:
- Weekday call-back: 1x/week
- Weekend call-back: 2x/weekend
- Procedures Include:
- Biopsies
- Drainages
- Tunneled access
- Hemorrhage control (trauma)
- Emergency GI, Gyn, and Urology IR procedures
- Support Staff: Full team of RNs and techs during the day; occasional second IR on site
- EMR: Epic
- Board Certification: BE/BC in Interventional Radiology
- Licensure: Active California Medical License
- Experience:
- Minimum 3 years post-training IR experience
- Must be comfortable managing trauma center IR cases
- Recent trauma IR experience required
- Work in a high-acuity, mission-driven trauma center
- Flexible PRN scheduling
