Medical Oncology opening in PennsylvaniaLocated in DuBois, PA100 Miles to Pittsburgh, PAFull-time Employed Position Healthcare system offers innovative hematology and oncology care with an integrated healthcare system that offers supportive services through a comprehensive breast service line, new GI lab, interventional radiology, PET/CT, cardiovascular and thoracic surgery, and a Center of Excellence with the Lung Cancer Alliance and UPMC Center of Excellence of Lung Cancer Screening.Clinical Details:

• Collaborative team that includes 2 hematology-oncology physicians and 7 advanced practice providers that deliver outstanding, multidisciplinary care to patients
• Services include immunotherapy, management of solid tumors, chemotherapy, blood cancers
• Support staff includes onsite RN supervisor and oncology certified or eligible RNs
• Shared call coverage with physician group
Administrative Details:
• Previous Medical Director experience a must (5-10 years preferred)
• Workload split 70-30 (clinical versus admin)
• Board certified hematology/oncology
• Medical Director will be expected to be on site at all locations at least monthly, all within a 30 minute drive
• Base location is Dubois
• Brookville satellite office
• Clearfield satellite office
• Punxsutawney satellite office
• Clarion satellite office
• St Marys satellite office
• Oversee system/region oncology services
• Outstanding leadership and interpersonal skills to interface with all departments within and outside of oncology, physicians and staff across the hospital system
