Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Progressive Care Unit night shift position in Ohio, requiring an OH or compact RN license and EPIC charting experience.
Responsibilities
- Work in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) of a hospital specializing in neurological and spine care
- Night shift schedule with 3x12 hour shifts from 19:00–07:30
- Rotating coverage of weeknights, weekends, and holidays required
- Estimated patient ratios are 1:3-4
- Floating to other units within the organization may be required
- Uses EPIC electronic medical record system
- May be required to float to other units within the organization as staffing needs dictate
- Rotating holiday coverage is expected according to unit policy
- Professional work attire or scrubs required as per hospital dress code
Requirements
- Active OH or compact RN license required
- Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale
- Minimum 2 years of PCU or med-surg nursing experience required
- EPIC EMR experience required
- Previous travel nursing experience preferred
