We are seeking a skilled Neurodiagnostic Technologist to join our team on a contract basis. This role involves performing neurodiagnostic procedures, including EEGs, EKGs, and Holter monitors, in a clinical setting. The position requires a commitment to high-quality patient care and adherence to all orientation and certification requirements.

Key Responsibilities- Perform neurodiagnostic tests, including EEGs, EKGs, and Holter monitors as needed.
- Assist with patient preparation and monitoring during procedures.
- Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with protocols.
- Participate in weekend and holiday coverage as required.
- Complete all assigned training and orientation modules without rescheduling.
- Education: High school diploma plus an accredited program (certificate or associate's degree) in Neurodiagnostic Technology.
- Certification:
- R. EEG T. (Registered EEG Technologist) from ABRET.
- AHA BLS (Basic Life Support).
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) – must be in hand prior to starting.
- Additional skills: Proficiency in neurodiagnostic equipment and procedures.
- 3 days a week, 8-hour shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
- Typical schedule: Monday-Wednesday-Thursday or Wednesday-Thursday-Friday (days may vary as needed).
- Weekend and holiday coverage as required.
- Contract duration: 6 weeks, with possible extension.
- Important Note: Failure to complete the full orientation will result in immediate termination. Once scheduled, candidates do not have the option to reschedule any classes.
- Candidates will receive an email directly from Inspira the Friday before the Monday start date. This email will include:
- Instructions for signing on to the Virtual Welcome meeting and online HealthStream Module from Human Resources (to be completed prior to 8:30 AM on Monday).
- Monday orientation will be virtual from the candidate's own computer. All assigned modules must be completed by Monday, or the candidate will be removed from the orientation list.
- In-person class schedule (typically Tuesday-Thursday), held in multiple locations. Candidates must use Health Stream to determine the class location on the day of the class. Note: The POCT (Point-of-Care Testing) class is required but not during orientation week.
- Unit-based orientation schedule provided by the manager.
- Badge ID Link: Instructions for making an in-person appointment to receive the ID badge (photo submissions are not permitted). The badge must be obtained during orientation and is required for clock-ins.
- This is a contract position with potential for extension based on performance and needs.
- All certifications must be current and verifiable prior to start.
- Candidates should be prepared for a structured onboarding process and flexible scheduling.
