Join Our Team as a Locum Physician in Emergency Medicine at West Branch, MI We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Locum Physician in Emergency Medicine to provide critical coverage at a busy emergency department located in West Branch, Michigan. The role plays a vital part in ensuring seamless emergency services for approximately 9,000 annual visits, with a supportive full ED staff and state-of-the-art facilities. Required Skills: Valid medical license in Michigan Board certification in Emergency Medicine or Anesthesiology with Emergency Medicine experience Proven ability to handle high-paced emergency scenarios Proficiency with Cerner EHR system Excellent clinical judgment and communication skills Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment Nice to Have Skills: Previous experience as a locum or in a rural/critical access hospital setting ACLS, ATLS, PALS certifications BLS certification Experience supervising healthcare providers (not mandatory) Preferred Education and Experience: MD or DO degree from an accredited institution Minimum of 2 years of emergency medicine practice or locum experience Previous work in trauma or fast-track environments Other Requirements: Work scheduled for 24-hour shifts at a daily rate of up to $9,600 ($7,488/hour) Start date: 01/02/2026, with coverage from 3/29/2026 to 3/30/2026 Must clock in/out using Doctime; no timesheets accepted Expenses covered per company policy; no third-party lodging booking or tax reimbursements Malpractice insurance included in rates Orientation pay at half the hourly rate Ability to commit to shifts and adhere to all hospital policies and procedures This position offers a competitive hourly rate of $7,488, weekly pay via direct deposit, comprehensive medical benefits, and a robust referral program.
