A Family Practice/Primary Care Nurse Practitioner provides comprehensive primary and specialty healthcare to patients, including diagnosing illnesses, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, and managing treatment plans. They collaborate with physicians and other health professionals to develop and evaluate individualized patient care plans, prescribe medications, and refer patients to specialized healthcare resources when necessary. This role requires advanced clinical expertise, certification, and adherence to state licensing and regulatory requirements in an outpatient setting.

Job Summary:
- The Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for providing primary and specialty healthcare to patients, including diagnosing and treating illnesses, ordering laboratory tests, prescribing medications, and managing health conditions.
- Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to identify and assess patient's clinical problems and health care needs.
- Records physical findings, and formulates plan and prognosis, based on patient's condition.
- Discusses case with Physician and other health professionals to prepare comprehensive patient care plan.
- Submits health care plan and goals of individual patients for periodic review and evaluation by Physician.
- Prescribes or recommends drugs or other forms of treatment such as physical therapy, inhalation therapy, or related therapeutic procedures.
- Refers patients to Physician for consultation or to specialized health resources for treatment.
Minimum Requirements:
- Master's degree Required.
- 1 years' experience Required.
- CPR Required.
- Must be registered and have current DEA, DPS.
- TX State licenses Required.
- BLS, PALS, ACLS, FNP-C Certification Required
