Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiovascular ICU position requiring a KY or compact license and current NIHSS certification.
Responsibilities
- Position is based in a Cardiovascular ICU (CVICU) within a hospital setting
- Work involves assignments in multiple ICU units including 4 South, 4 Towers, 5 South, and OHRR-CVIC
- Night shift schedule running from 6:45pm to 7:15am
- Responsible for delivering critical care to cardiovascular ICU patients
- A 50-mile radius rule applies; local travelers are not eligible for this travel position
- NIHSS certification must be provided prior to start date
- First-time travelers may be considered but must fulfill all requirements
Requirements
- Active KY or compact RN license required
- Minimum of 2 years recent CVICU experience required
- All certifications must be American Heart Association (AHA) and current for contract duration
- Active NIHSS certification required before start
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- No license issues (no ‘hits’ allowed on license)
- Completion of CPI training required, may be completed onsite
- COVID-19 and Influenza vaccinations required
- Gaps in work history of 3 months or more must be explained
