Welcome to an exciting opportunity in the heart of New York City! Jackson + Coker is looking for a passionate Child Psychiatrist to join our team. This role offers a unique blend of clinical work and leadership in child and adolescent psychiatry, with a touch of telehealth to keep things interesting.

Position Overview:

In this role, you'll spend 40% of your time providing direct clinical care to youth facing mental health challenges. The remaining 60% will involve supervisory and managerial duties, supporting psychiatric providers, therapists, and program directors working with high-risk youth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Direct clinical care for youth with a focus on mental health challenges
  • Supervision and leadership over various youth programs
  • Participation in supervision sessions and incident review committees
  • Collaboration with the agency's central Psychiatric Services team
  • Temporary coverage for clinical programs with provider vacancies
Qualifications:
  • Active DEA and New York State License as a psychiatrist
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in child psychiatry
  • Demonstrated experience in youth psychiatric care
  • Comfort supervising newly graduated NPPs
  • Willingness to travel to sites across New York City
