Job DescriptionThe Registered Nurse is responsible for evaluating patients and assisting physicians with patient care. They plan, implement, and document nursing care based on patient needs. Key responsibilities include:
Responsibilities- Identifies patient needs and determines priorities for care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
- Develops, implements, and coordinates individualized plans of care for assigned patients through initial and ongoing assessments.
- Initiates assessments based on the patient’s problems, physician’s medical diagnosis, and functional health framework.
- Performs therapeutic nursing interventions and manages care of patients.
- Documents care based on standards of care and patient acuity.
- Advocates for evidence-based practice care standards and supports adoption of innovative care delivery.
- Provides patient-centric care in alignment with professional nursing practice models.
- Minimum 3+ years of Mother Baby experience required.
- Required Education: ASN; Preferred Education: BSN.
- Required Certifications: BLS must be AHA, NRP.
- Must hold NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license.
