Sterile Processing Technician Certified

Full-time, weekday schedule with no nights, weekends or holidays. Certified Sterile Processing Technician role at Charlotte Outpatient Surgery Center. Monday–Friday days; full-time; on-site; ongoing/permanent position. - High school diploma or GED - Current Sterile Reprocessing certification required (CBSPD, CRCST or CSPDT) - Ability to pass department skills validation and competency testing - Knowledge of instrumentation, sterile/aseptic technique and medical terminology

What We're Looking For:

• Education: High School Diploma or GED, required.
• Experience: One year of experience in a hospital Sterile Reprocessing Department, preferred.
• Licensure/Certification: Sterile Reprocessing Tech certification, required. CBSPD, CRCST or CSPDT, required.
• Additional Skills (required): Ability to successfully complete generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing. Demonstrates knowledge of instrumentation and sterile/aseptic technique. Ability to read and comprehend written instructions to assemble instrument sets and trays. Ability to learn and understand medical terminology. Maintains Sterile Processing Technician certification.
