This position is for a full-time Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) specializing in Anesthesiology, providing independent anesthesia services primarily for orthopedic, OB/GYN, and eye procedures at a hospital in North Dakota. The role requires an MD/DO degree, board certification or eligibility in anesthesiology, and relevant licenses including ACLS, PALS, BLS, and DEA. The job involves 12-hour shifts with a 1:5 call schedule and includes an expedited hospital credentialing process using an electronic health record system.
Responsibilities
- Provide anesthesia services for a variety of cases at a single hospital
- Work independently without CRNA supervision
- Perform blocks, lumber punctures, and intubations
- Handle a caseload consisting of 50% Ortho, 25% OB/GYN, and 25% Eye procedures
- Stabilize and transfer more complex cases as needed
- MD/DO Degree from an accredited College of Medicine
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology
- Active state medical license
- 1 year of Anesthesia experience
- ACLS, PALS, BLS, and DEA License
- Full-time position with 40 hours per week
- 12-hour shifts from 7:30 am to 7:30 pm
- 1:5 call schedule
- Expedited hospital credentialing process
