Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiac Stepdown/PCU position requiring a NH or compact RN license and recent stepdown experience.
Responsibilities
- Work in a hospital-based Cardiac Med/Surg Stepdown Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
- Day shifts from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM
- 13-week contract assignment
- Care for cardiac medical/surgical patients
- Provide specialized nursing care for cardiac stepdown patients in a fast-paced hospital unit
- Must provide copies of certifications and license verification for consideration
- References and skills checklist required as part of the application process
Requirements
- Active NH or compact RN license required
- Minimum 1 year of recent stepdown or PCU experience required
- American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) BLS certification required, valid at least 30 days beyond start date
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
- US SSN (no Canadian SSN accepted) and date of birth required for consideration
