Job Title: Physician - Neurology
Join a Collaborative Neurology Team in Davenport, Iowa!
MercyOne Genesis, a Joint Commission-certified Primary Stroke Center, is seeking a full-time, board-certified or board-eligible Neurologist to become part of a growing neurology team in Davenport. This vibrant riverfront community offers an excellent quality of life, making it an ideal location for both personal and professional growth.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive neurological care in a blended inpatient and outpatient practice model.
- Practice at both the MercyOne Genesis Neurology Clinic and Genesis Medical Center.
- Collaborate with a supportive team of 4 neurologists, 5 nurse practitioners, and 1 neuropsychologist.
- Participate in a shared call rotation to provide 24/7 neurological support at a Primary Stroke Center.
- Treat diverse neurological conditions such as stroke, epilepsy, headaches, multiple sclerosis, and movement disorders.
- Coordinate patient care with hospitalists, primary care physicians, and other specialists.
- Contribute to the continued growth and innovation of neurological services.
- Enjoy a stable referral base with growing patient demand from a supportive community.
- Access modern facilities and state-of-the-art equipment within a well-established health system.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified in Neurology or Board Eligible (within 3 years of residency).
- Willing to obtain an Iowa license.
- Willingness to work in a blended inpatient/outpatient model.
- Must participate in shared call rotation.
- Clean malpractice history is highly preferred.
License and Certification Requirements:
- Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Neurology (to become Board certified within 1 year of employment).
- Active Iowa medical license (or willing to obtain).
