Job Details:

• Work 12-hour shifts with guaranteed 36 hours for 3x12 schedule or 40 hours for 8/10 schedule
• 18 months telemetry/acute care experience required, 2 years preferred
• Must have recent PCU or Cardiac Telemetry experience reflected in work history
• Experience with vasoactive drips and stroke patients required
• Required certifications: AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS (must have at time of submittal), NIHSS (must obtain prior to start)
• Will float to all 3 hospitals (Martin North, South, Tradition - within 20 miles) to meet facility needs
• White scrubs required
• EPIC charting system experience required
• Must be nicotine free - negative 10 panel + nicotine (cotinine) drug screen required
• EKG and pharmacy test required during orientation with maximum 2 attempts each
• Skills include telemetry monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, blood product administration, central and peripheral line care, cardiac drip management, and isolation precautions
• Work with stroke patients and manage rapid response/code team situations
• Time sensitive orientation modules must be prioritized upon assignment confirmation
• All requested time off must be submitted at time of application
• First-time travelers accepted with strict compliance requirements

This short-term acute care teaching hospital features 332 staffed beds and maintains Magnet designation. The facility operates multiple locations within a 20-mile radius and utilizes EPIC charting systems.
