Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for our Med Surg unit. The ideal candidate should have a background in surgical care and experience with telemetry. A focus on adult and geriatric patient populations is essential. Meditech experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Med Surg unit.
- Monitor patient statuses and administer medication and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Assist in various medical procedures and maintain detailed documentation of patient care.
- Participate in patient and family education regarding treatment options and care plans.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Current RN license in the state of North Carolina.
- BLS Certification required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Med Surg nursing.
- Experience with Meditech is preferred.
