A Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) is responsible for administering anesthesia and monitoring patient conditions during surgical and diagnostic procedures in a full-service hospital setting. Position Details:
• Patient Population: Adult and pediatric patients
• Setting: a full-service hospital
• Responsibilities:
o Administer anesthesia for surgical, therapeutic, diagnostic, and obstetric procedures
o Perform nursing/anesthesia assessments and plan interventions for patients
o Monitor and document anesthesia administration and patient condition
o Set up and check anesthesia machines and equipment
o Participate in quality improvement activities and hospital meetings
o Respond to emergency situations such as cardiac arrest and trauma
• Required Procedures:
o Adult and pediatric venipuncture
o Arterial line insertion
o Medication calculation and effects
o Sterile technique
o Airway maintenance
o Administration and management of regional anesthetics
• EMR System: Not specified
• Support Staff: Support from anesthesia team, attending physicians, and surgeons

Submission Requirements:
• Board Certified NBCRNA REQUIRED
• Michigan CRNA License (Advanced Practice Nurse Specialty License in Anesthesia) REQUIRED
• Evidence of CMEs completed annually REQUIRED
• At least 3 years of experience in CRNA role REQUIRED
• State experience with procedures (Adult and pediatric venipuncture, Arterial line insertion, Medication calculation and effects, Sterile technique, Airway maintenance, Administration and management of regional anesthetics) REQUIRED
• Active BLS, ACLS, NRP (by time of start) REQUIRED
• PALS PREFERRED
Compensation and Benefits:
• Salary Range: $200,000 $240,000
• Overtime and On-Call Rate: 1.5x
• Sign-On Bonus: Up to $70,000 for full-time employment
• Relocation Package: Generous relocation package for non-locals

• PTO: 23 days per year + 6 paid holidays
