Seeking a long-term nurse proficient with g-tube, tracheotomy tube and ventilator for an adult patient. The client is alert oriented and able to communicate using an eye gazer augmentative and alternative communication device. There is a Hoyer lift in the home to safely assist in transfers due to the client's physical impairment.We'd love to find a nurse who can truly connect and make a meaningful impact.

Responsibilities of Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs)
- Medication administration per physician orders
- Physician ordered treatments for:
- Nutrition via a feeding tube
- Tracheostomy care
- Suctioningnasal, oral and/or endotracheal
- Ventilation care
- Seizure assessment and treatment
Requirements for Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs)
- Current, active Florida RN or LPN license
- Current BLS CPR card (obtained in-person, not online)
- G-tube, trach, vent experience, or willing to train
- TB Skin Test (PPD) or TB Blood Test (QF)
- Alzheimer's training - 2 Hour DOEA Approved Course (provided at no cost if needed)
- 1- Hour DOEA Alzheimer's Video (provided free of cost on DOEA website)
