Position Overview

HumanEdge Health is seeking a Travel Labor & Delivery RN for an evening-shift assignment. This role is ideal for an experienced L&D nurse who can provide high-quality care to laboring and postpartum patients in an acute care setting.

Schedule & Requirements

• PM shifts

• 8-hour shifts | 36 guaranteed hours per week

• No on-call requirements

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to laboring, delivering, and postpartum patients

• Monitor fetal heart tracings and maternal status

• Assist with vaginal and cesarean deliveries

• Administer medications and interventions per L&D protocols

• Collaborate with obstetricians, midwives, and interdisciplinary teams

• Accurately document patient care in the EMR

• Educate patients and families throughout the childbirth process

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of Labor & Delivery RN experience required

  • 2 years preferred

• BLS Certification required

• NRP Certification required

• Fetal Monitoring certification preferred

• Active RN license (Connecticut or compact, as applicable)
