Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced Emergency Department RN for a night shift position requiring at least one year of recent ER experience and CPI certification.
Responsibilities
- Work in the Emergency Care Center of a hospital environment
- Provide care to a diverse emergency and trauma patient population
- Night shift position with hours from 2:45 PM to 3:15 AM
- 12-hour shifts on a travel contract assignment
- Responsible for delivering emergency care and responding to acute patient conditions
- May be required to manage aggressive or behavioral health patients using approved de-escalation techniques
- All certifications must remain valid through the first 30 days of assignment
Requirements
- Active RN license required
- Minimum of one year recent experience in Emergency Department nursing
- Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification required; SAMA, MAB, or equivalent may be accepted based on facility policy
- BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA or ARC required
- Must provide complete employment history without gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
- US Social Security Number (no Canadian SSNs) and date of birth required for consideration
- Copies of certifications and license verification required
