This position is for a board-certified or eligible pediatric intensivist in the Hampton Roads area of Coastal Virginia, working in a 32-bed pediatric intensive care unit handling around 1,200 admissions annually. The unit treats critically ill children with both medical and surgical conditions using a multidisciplinary approach, with priority given to candidates with cardiac intensive care experience. The role offers permanent, in-house 24/7 coverage alongside a team of physicians and advanced practice providers.
