Opportunity Overview:

• We are currently seeking two dedicated Emergency Medicine Physicians to join our team on a locum tenens basis near BROOKSVILLE, FL. This position offers immediate start dates with a flexible schedule accommodating both day and night shifts.

Shift Details:

• As an Emergency Medicine Physician, you will work 12-hour shifts either from 7am to 7pm or 7pm to 7am. Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) will also be available to support the clinical team during these shifts.

Facility Details:

• Our facility boasts a 14-bed Emergency Department, including a dedicated 4-bed Fast Track area, serving a diverse patient population. With an annual ED volume of 15,000 patients and an ED PPH of 1.75, our team is equipped to handle a wide range of medical emergencies.

Specialty Backup:

• Specialty backup services including Orthopedics, Neurology, Gastroenterology, Cardiology, Urology, and General Surgery are readily available to support our Emergency Department. Additionally, patients requiring specialized care are efficiently transferred to appropriate facilities.

Credentialing Requirements:

• Physicians must possess a specialty in Emergency Medicine, while Family Medicine providers with a minimum of 2 years of Emergency Medicine experience and certifications in ACLS and PALS will also be considered.
