Description

Under the supervision of the Rehabilitation Services Manager or Assistant Manager, the Physical Therapy Aide provides support to therapists by performing routine maintenance, sanitation, transportation, and care of the physical plant. The aide may assist therapists in patient preparation or transfers and may assume other responsibilities as assigned by the departmental manager. Demonstrates behavior practices that reflect the philosophy and mission of our sponsors, Providence Health and Services, our founders, the Dominican Sisters, and Providence Mount Carmel Hospital's Standards of Conduct.

Required Qualifications:

• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Coursework/Training Nursing Assistant training.
• Coursework/Training in environmental services or nursing.
