RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour day shifts from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Weekend hours required
• No call requirements
• 2+ years level 3 or 4 NICU experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, NRP
• STABLE certification preferred
• Must have experience caring for level 3 NICU infants including high frequency vents, conventional vents, CPAP, NIMV, HFNC, Nitric, whole body cooling
• Experience required with OG/NG/PO feedings, UAC, UVC, PICC, PIV procedures
• Must attend high risk deliveries and all cesarean section deliveries
• Patient ratios depend on acuity: typically 3 feeders, 2 CPAP, 1 nitric, 1 cooling
• May float to mother baby or pediatrics but unlikely due to high census
• Work with EPIC EMR system
• Required scrub color: Black
• 25-bed NICU unit with overflow beds on pediatric floor
