We are seeking a dedicated and experienced OB/GYN Physician Hospitalist to join our team in Phoenix, AZ. The Hospitalist Physician will specialize in obstetrics and gynecology, providing comprehensive inpatient care for obstetric and gynecological patients admitted to the hospital. The ideal candidate will bring strong clinical expertise, a commitment to high-quality patient care, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide inpatient care for obstetric and gynecological patients.
- Manage prenatal, labor, delivery, and postpartum care.
- Perform gynecological procedures and surgeries.
- Educate patients on health, family planning, and wellness.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams for coordinated care.
- Maintain patient records and communicate effectively.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
- Education: MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
- Training: Residency training in obstetrics and gynecology from an accredited program.
- Certifications: Board-certified or board-eligible in obstetrics and gynecology.
- Licensure: Current, unrestricted medical license to practice in the state of Arizona.
- DEA Registration: Required for prescribing controlled substances.
- Experience: Strong clinical background in obstetric and gynecological care in a hospital setting.
- On call or Weekend work Required
