This locum tenens position is for a board-certified physician specializing in neuroradiology and interventional radiology in Arizona. The role involves interpreting a high volume of MSK radiographs, CTs, and MRIs, performing joint injections and aspirations, and providing on-call coverage including evenings and weekends. The schedule primarily covers weekdays from 8 AM to 5 PM with some weekend shifts and occasional evening calls for sports coverage.
Coverage Needed ASAP - ongoing Schedule 8a-5p M-F with some weekends Will need sports coverage until a certain time, maybe 8-9pm Clinical Details Won't need overnight coverage with ED staff overnight Modalities include: MSK radiographs, CT, MRI. Around 90-120 radiographs a day and 10-20 cross sectionals. Procedures include: joint injections and aspirations, 3-7 week. Weekend shift is 8-5p, similar numbers. Requirements MSK procedures and ultrasound are preferred Board certified Call Will be required to take call one week at a time Hold pager on evenings and overnight M-Sunday. may get occasional call for athlete in the evening (1-2 times a month on average) and rarely called otherwise. May not need evening or overnight coverage depending on situation. EMR Cerner
