Position Details:
Patient Population: Newborns/Infants
Setting: Hospital Inpatient (Level II & Level III NICUs)
Responsibilities: Provide neonatal intensive care, rounding, collaborate with pediatric subspecialists, utilize advanced neonatal technologies (body cooling, jet ventilation, oscillators, iNO), teaching and quality improvement initiatives.
Required Procedures: Advanced neonatal procedures as applicable in Level II & III NICU care.
EMR System: Not specified
Support Staff: Neonatal care team, pediatric subspecialists, nursing staff
Days Per Month: Flexible scheduling, full-time permanent role
On-Call/Weekends: Rotating weekends and on-call coverage
Submission Requirements:
Board Eligible (within 5 years) or Board Certified in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine REQUIRED
Colorado medical license (or willingness to obtain) REQUIRED
Clean malpractice and license history HIGHLY PREFERRED
Visa support needs (J1 or H1B) must be specified REQUIRED
Open to both experienced neonatologists and recent graduates meeting certification requirements REQUIRED
