About The PositionTRAVEL - X RAY TECH (728) - Wesley Woodlawn - 7A - 7P - BACKFILL Unit Information: Diagnostic Radiology/728 Location: Wesley Woodlawn Medical Center Address: Floor: 1 Building: 4 General Information Tell us about the unit(s): Radiology department x-ray only, serving level 1 trauma, OR, ER, Adult and Pediatric ICU and acute care, NICU, COVID patients, out-patient studies and fluoro Number of Beds 760 bed hospital Number of Staff 37 Type of staff: Radiology X-Ray Techs Day Shift 7 Techs S-M, 8 techs Tuesdays, 1 tech assistant, 2 office clerks (630-3) Night Shift 2nd shift (1500-2330) 6 techs, (1500-1900) 1 tech, 3rd shift (2230-630) 2 techs Patient Ratios N/A Type of equipment GE Digital portables/ AMX CR portables/ GE Digital fluoro/ Philips fluoro/ GE C-ARMS EMR - Meditech Typical hiring profile Skill Set Most recruited for: (Travel RNs, local CNAs and sitters) Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. Kansas State Board of Healing Arts License Radiologic Technologist (LRT)/Registered ARRT X-ray experience with portable exams Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first. Experience in level 1 trauma center Experience with OR/Surgery/C-arms. Experience with Synapse/PACS & Meditech List typical procedures performed on unit(s): Portable x-ray exams/fluoro/surgery/routine out-patient x-ray exams Trauma, pediatric, OR, ER, NICU, Adult ICU, acute care, out-patient, COVID Best personality Fit: Likes to stay busy Likes fast-paced work environment Unit Guidelines/Policies: Please feel free to attach unit policies and guidelines.
