7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, 12-hour nights with a 36-hour guarantee. Sunday start.

Job Description

This position is within an Adaptive Acuity Unit, where, on occasion, travelers may be required to provide Progressive Care Unit (PCU) care at a 3:1 patient ratio. It is mandatory to have drip experience and charge nurse experience to fulfill this role. The charge nurse duties are non-negotiable.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in both PCU and acute care settings as needed.
• Supervise nursing staff and coordinate patient care activities.
• Float to any inpatient unit within the scope of practice.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2+ years of current Med Surg/Tele experience required.
• Charge nurse experience is mandatory.
• PCU experience strongly preferred.
• Drip experience is required.
• ICU experience is strongly preferred.
• Minimum of 3 months previous travel experience is required.
• ACLS (AHA) and BLS (AHA) certifications are necessary.
• Candidates must have a valid Vermont state license.
• Traveler must possess their own vehicle.
